Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry Co., Ltd. was established in August, 1999, which was restructured from its former of Wuhan Huazhong Software Company, major shareholders are Huazhong University of Science and so on.
With the rapid development of Tianyu, more and more talents have joined us, within staffs, 15 ones have hold Doctor Degrees, and more than 70 ones have hold Master Degrees and over 85% of who have hold Bachelor Degrees or above. In 1993 the former Wuhan Huazhong Software Company was formed with registered capital of RMB 3million. The company was backed by the CAD research center of Huazhong University of Sci. &Tec. which was established in 1985 and has become a National CAD supported software engineering center in 1996;
In 1998, it has grown to be the Hubei software base of State Torch project;
In August, 1999, Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry Limited Company. was established based on the staff, asset, business of the former Huazhong Software Company;
In November, 2000, it has been reconstructed from a limited liability company to Wuhan Tianyu Industry Co., Ltd approved by Hubei Provincial government. The main shareholders are Wuhan State –owned Asset Management Co., Ltd., Huagong High-Tech Co., Ltd., HUST (Huazhong University of Sci. &Tec.) High-Tech Group etc. with registered capital of RMB 45.25 million;
In September, 2004, it has been joint-stock company and reconstructed to be a foreign investment corporation approved by the Ministry of Commerce of China with registration at Hubei provincial Administration for Industry& Commerce and registered capital increased from RMB 45.25million to59.73million.
In December, 2007, Tianyu changed to domestic investment corporation from a foreign investment corporation after Sagem transferred the finance to HUSTVC.
